About The Program :
Few bank officers and directors have backgrounds in IT, security, data processing, or payments. Yet with heightened regulatory scrutiny mandating more direct oversight of these areas, officers and directors must satisfy the statutory requisite of an “informed” point of view. In this pursuit, technology is both a means and an end; it is a topic to master and a tool from which such mastery comes. Strategic competence and creativity in technology is what sets winners apart in today’s commoditized world of financial services. Join us for a candid review of the technology trends and challenges facing today's senior bank leadership, and learn to capitalize strategically on opportunities for growing your bank in trying times.

Topics Covered :
  • Technology update and forecast
  • Tipping points in payments: bill pay, debit cards, prepaid cards
  • Top 10 technologies for 2010 and beyond
  • Remote deposit: winning the all-out grab for low-cost core deposits
  • Mobile banking and payments: whether and when to make a move
  • Risk and security: ID theft update, mitigation, and controls
